A No-Code Tool for Watch Faces
Galaxy Watch Studio gives designers and hobbyists a way to assemble and publish watch faces without programming. I owned the program’s interface, new features, component system, and desktop layout while translating earlier Photoshop resources into a modern design workflow.

Removing the Coding Barrier
Traditional watch-face creation required creators to write code, which excluded many capable visual designers. Galaxy Watch Studio lowered that skill barrier by turning design, assembly, testing, and release into a visual workflow.

Building on Familiar Design Conventions
The target users already understood tools such as Adobe applications, Sketch, and Figma. I used familiar panels, canvases, layers, and editing patterns so creators could bring their own graphics into Galaxy Watch Studio and become productive quickly.

Learning From Active Sellers
After the beta launch, I reviewed community discussions and interviewed top watch-face sellers. Their feedback was ranked by importance, effort, and development time. A consistent theme was the need to preview a complete watch face and its complications more easily.

Keeping a Dynamic Preview Visible
The most requested feature was a real-time preview. Because the emulator required a fixed amount of space, I reorganized panels and moved secondary controls into submenus so creators could keep the full watch face visible while they worked.

Organizing Components and Starter Resources
New creators needed inspiration and reusable parts, while experienced creators needed efficient access to advanced controls. I designed resource and component navigation around tabs and pages, preserving the preview area while making backgrounds, hands, complications, and other building blocks easier to find.
